Christopher M. Quinn, MACC, CPA, CFE, CGFO, CLGFO serves as Chief Financial Officer for the Town of Mooresville, NC.  Chris started his career in government in 2005 as Chief Accountant and then Finance Director for the City of Palm Coast, FL followed by Finance Director for the City of Gainesville, FL. He spent over 4 years with the Central Florida Tourism Oversight District (Formerly Reedy Creek Improvement District), which provides local government services to Disney World in Orlando, as Finance Manager and then Chief Financial Officer. 

In addition to being a Certified Public Accountant, Chris is a North Carolina Certified Local Government Finance Officer, Certified Fraud Examiner and Florida Certified Government Finance Officer. He is a member of several professional accounting organizations including NCACPA, ACFE, GFOA, and NCGFOA.

Originally from Brooklyn, New York, Chris moved to Florida from the Berkshires in Massachusetts. After nearly 20 years in Florida, he relocated to Mooresville, NC.  He earned his undergraduate degree in accounting from State University of New York – New Paltz, graduating summa cum laude. He received his Master in Accountancy degree from the University of North Florida.
