IDE Launches Digital Engineering Fellows Program
Mooresville, North Carolina – May 1, 2025 - The Institute of Digital Engineering is proud to announce the launch the IDE Fellowship Program. The program is a strategic initiative where we bring together our best engineers to mentor future generations in the critical area of digital engineering. Digital engineering is important to the defense sector as it represents a real boost for the growth of advanced manufacturing in our community.
The inaugural class of IDE Fellows includes Ryan Bobryk, Angelo Cristobal, Matthew Goodson, Kevin McIver, David Stowe, and Aaron Ward. These individuals were selected for their technical proficiency and strong vision for how digital tools and methodologies can revolutionize engineering. Each Fellow is committed to supporting IDE in helping the next generation of engineers.
The Fellowship program was created by the IDE to honor those individuals with significant engineering accomplishments and support upcoming digital engineers through partnerships on research initiatives.
Angelo Cristobal, one of the inaugural Fellows, stated, "IDE assembles digital engineering experts to establish strong foundations for digital engineering in Mooresville by giving collegiate students real-world experience."
Fellows support IDE research projects and initiatives, mentor interns, and share their knowledge by contributing to the broader engineering community. In Summer 2025, the IDE has selected 3 interns who will work closely with our Fellows and other community partners.
